Dear Darling Cafe in Quezon City is a small, unpretentious spot that leans more toward a café vibe with food offerings that bridge brunch and heartier meals. Located along Katipunan Avenue, it attracts those looking for a quiet place to settle in for a meal or coffee without the buzz of busier chains nearby.

The space is modest in size, accommodating around 30 to 35 people, which creates an intimate setting. The décor isn’t flashy but features splashes of varied colors that lend it an artsy, gallery-like feel. This creates a casual backdrop that’s relaxed enough for solo visits or small groups. The lighting can get a bit bright in certain seats, something to keep in mind if you’re sensitive to it.

The menu focuses on brunch-style plates with some elevated options. The Ravioli with Vodka Tomato Sauce stands out as a recommended dish alongside classics like steak and eggs or a Monte Cristo sandwich—perfect if you’re after hearty breakfast flavors beyond the usual coffee and pastries. The portion sizes feel generous, paired with thoughtful sides like chive rice or creamy mashed potatoes. Coffee offerings tend to be on the pricier side relative to local cafés, which may be a consideration for those popping in just for a quick drink.

Service here tends to be friendly and attentive, with staff who make an effort to be helpful even during busy times—giving each guest a sense of personal attention. The atmosphere works well for mid-morning brunches or early dinners where you want a calm, unfussy setting to linger without feeling rushed.

Dear Darling Cafe suits locals and visitors who appreciate a low-key dining experience with some variety beyond the usual café fare. It’s not the busiest spot on Katipunan, but it offers a manageable, clean environment that’s good for catching up over food or working quietly with a coffee. To fully enjoy the ambiance and avoid any seating issues with lighting, visiting during daylight hours might be preferable.

Yummy! Service is ok if a bit slow. Atmosphere wise its pretty chill, I went for dinner. The lights are a bit bright though and from where I was seated, there is just one light pointed to my face, giving me a headache (i have light sensitivity) so I just moved. Overall, pretty ok.

I've been passing by katip countless times but only recently discovered this hidden gem. Atmosphere is ok although I'm not really an interiors or aesthetics guy. But it is clean with a splash of different colors that make you feel like you're in an art gallery. The service is even better. Servers are friendly and helpful and it felt as if you're the only customer there even if it was a full house during that time. The food- that's something worth noting and probably the main reason that I might come back again (although the parking and the clean toilet is a big big big plus too). Each dish is plated nicely and the taste matches the look. As a homecook, they definitely got my thumbs up- flavor profiles are dynamic yet balanced. Their prices are affordable compared to the quality they are dishing out. More than the price, quality is something I appreciate. I don't really go out of my way writing reviews but the food alone was enough for me to write one. What I recommend to try: eggs bene, chicken fricasee(?), caramel cheesecake, canoli (?). (The cheesecake is really good)

Good food and great ambiance. It’s just a small cafe though which can probably hold around 30-35 pax. Ordered the ravioli in vodka sauce, truffle fries and iced creme brulee. Overall, I was satisfied with what I ate. They also served complimentary bread. Would probably come back but prices were a bit steep. 200-400++ per order and coffee was 180-200++
